Do you need proof, Well here's the sequence.
Sandee gets the idea and presents Rubber Duck racing to the URCC Board.
URCC Board decides against it. end of story, NO !
Vic proceeds to prove the idea viable. Proceeds to recruit ( and "con", you know who you are, thanks again) great people and minds, like Sandee, Linda, Daryl 'please vote for Daryl Hawikins, SC city council', Stanley, Bob, the whole URCC board and others.
We all begin to earnestly work on the mechanics, the logistics, all the while recruiting (86 people, last count) and with true community spirit,
URCC pulled it off !
In just a few months, even with less than great weather on race day, a complete success.
We are planning Hawiian BBQ and Rubber Duck Races # 2.
If this is not the mind set we want at city hall, vote for someone else.
Really though, Vic wants your vote, he wants the challenge of being an innovative council member for the city of Shady Cove.
