Welcome to The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe!
The Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe travels the world as an exact photographic replica of the Miraculous Image shown above, which the Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ, true God and true man, left on an Indian's cloak on December 12, 1531 in Mexico city. This miraculous image still exists for all to see! "Guadalupe" means River of Light since Mother Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ, the Life and Light of the World.
Mary came from heaven to earth in 1531 and told the Indian, Blessed Juan Diego, "I will show and offer all my love, my compassion, and my help to the people. I am your merciful Mother. I will hear their weeping and their sorrows and will remedy and alleviate their suffering." Within 9 years 9 million Indians converted their lives, accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and found healing and peace!

nothing discourage you, nothing depress you. Also do not
fear any illness or vexation, anxiety or pain. Am I not
here who am your Mother?" She also recently told Father Gobbi of the Marian Movement of Priests, "I confirm to you that, by the Great Jubilee Year 2000, there will take place the Triumph of my Immaculate Heart, of which I foretold you at Fatima, and this will come to pass with the return of Jesus in glory, to establish His Reign in the world." |
